When do you think Canada will have a stable government again?

environment canada issues : Jack Layton is envisaging a non-confidence motion if Stephen Harper rejects his counter-proposal bill on the environment. So we could soon see another election, which would probably result in another minority government.

How long do you think it will take for Canada to have a stable government again? Do we need to review electoral rules (have two rounds of elections, for example)?

For one thing, Layton will need the support of the Liberals and the Bloc, which he probably won’t get because the Liberals don’t have a leader yet.
However if it should come to pass and the non-confidence vote does get pulled through, I doubt there will be a stable government due the fact that we just elected one bonehead and will probably be hesitant to elect another.

As long as we have people like Jack Layton and a liberal party that is scandal riddin, we don’t want to hold our breath to long. In my opinion When you have a leader like Jack Layton who has no concept of reality and very little common sense it is no wonder why we are where we are. Adding to the fire is a liberal party that has become nothing but a pathetic bunch of loosers, and then we have Quebec who wants to start their own country which in my view is just plain insanity. If you want a stable Government in power that will make the changes this country needs very badly, then we have one choice and that would be a Conservative majority Government It’s that dam simple. I don’t know what it is going to take for the people of Canada to wake up and start taking responsibility for them selves, and quit being victims and wanting every thing free Like Jack Layton would have us have. We do not need a Government to be our mommy and daddy.
