What is a good continuing education class to teach for the general public?

continuing education issues : I graduate in a year and a half in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. I will be home for approximately one semester before grad school. I am interested in teaching a class for the general public in Psychology or CAFS…any ideas? That I can offer without it being a counseling session (which will not be in my scope of practice yet!!)

recognizing non obvious signs of child abuse/neglect.(failure in school, behavioral changes, asking kids to “play” with them, depression, etc. This is something every person needs to know.. Maybe something on recognizing signs of a depressed/suicidal person.. not all suicidal persons “ask” for help and not all people who threaten suicide are seeking attention..that’s a myth.. Both of these have affected my life and are important issues.. GL
