social security issues : Does the social security also expires? When checked does it say anything? Like not valid? Or does it still have the person’s information?

social security issues : My mother applied for Social Security and Disability for me and had the checks deposited into her bank account, when I was 18. I am now 21 and I would like to use part of that for rent. What information do I need to bring with me to my local Social Security office, other than my Social Security Card into to change where it is deposited?

social security issues : I think that when you working or deal with cash they do credit check by looking at your social security number to see if you have bad credit but do some jobs not concern about your credit do they use your social security number for a background check and check your employment history. What else can they do with your social security numbers.

social security issues : As a retiree, I am currently receiving a modest supplemental buy-out check. Can I direct the company to discontinue my social security tax on those checks. I am currently not being taxed at all on my Social Security Disability Award.

social security issues : My ex-husband was a legal resident for 23 years of the US. He was deported for a domestic violence charge. I was wondering what happens to all his Social Security he has paid?

social security issues : A dependant works for a university and her paystubs have federal taxes withheld, but no social security of medicare. She tells me that the school told her that she doesn’t pay that but she is unsure why. Possibly becasue they are a federal university? I don’t know if that sounds right or not.
If it is incorrect, will she then owe whatever amount at the end of the year?
