higher education issues : I am writing a college English paper on the value of a college education. Things to think about:
Is it worth the money?
Does the mind need to be intellectually stimulated?
Can you be happy without going to school?
Can you be successful without going to school?
Why are you going to school?
Why are you not going to school?
Will a degree guarentee you a job?
Have universities become so much like a business that they pump out degrees that aren’t as in high demand?
If you did not go to college, do you regret not going?
Any other thoughts please let me know.

higher education issues : I would like your opinions on the good and bad of of the US Higher Education system, since I have to give an essay on how I would change the system. Now, I don’t know much about College and such, since I’m only a college prep student. So that’s why I’m asking you college kids and older on what you think about out Higher Education system now. I just need to know what is good, and what’s bad about it, and what you would do to make it better. Thanks

continuing education issues : Ok ive been a licensed stylist for a couple of years now and it has been a couple of months since my last class. I would like to be able to find good color and cuting classes other than the ones provided by malys and cosmoprof. Im having a hard time finding some and my salon does not offer in salon education..HELP

discovery education issues : Upon arriving and experiencing the Oakville, Ontario public schools, we have learned that the Ontario elementary curriculum is behind the Michigan curriculum. Our children (Gr. 1, 3 & 6) spent the 2007-08 school year in Oakville in a highly rated school based on Ontario’s EQAO tests. It was apparent within the first month that the Ontario Curriculum is approximately one to 1 ½ years BEHIND the Michigan curriculum and the school we came from. This surprising discovery led us to dig deeper into a comparison of the US & Ontario schools and ultimately to pull them out and put them into a Private School in Ontario we felt better matched the US education/curriculum.
