higher education issues : Why is it, when people think of the epitome of higher education, they think of Harvard? I think it’s a bit overused and cliche by now. I am not saying everyone thinks that Harvard is the best college ever, I am just wondering why it is considered the best out of the Ivy League while other Ivies aren’t considered as prestigious as Harvard is.
**Note: in this, Harvard can be replaced with any prestigious university you want it to be. I am just curious what makes a university prestigious other than how old it is and how much press it gets. Why people would choose Harvard over a college that fits them better.

What is the first degree I must start off with to become one?Than what other degrees do I have to earn to get a job as a special education teacher? education city issues : And why do the commisars in Raleigh keep passing bills to screw up education? I used to live in NC but emigrated to the UK (heaven compared to NC). NC can’t seem to stand local small districts doing well. Why does NC want to force consolidation/merger down people’s throats. Is it because the state want to ruin education by forcing richer, smaller city districts to merge with redneck “football only matters” systems?

What that case, along with the subsequent decisions of the Supreme Court did, was to return the Reconstruction Amendments, the 13th, 14th, and 15th, into actually being enforced as part of the constitution.
