Should we expect low quality education in our inner city schools?

education city issues : I have noticed that most people nowadays accept that a school where the majority of the students are Latinos or blacks will have a poor quality education. Why the apathy? I want to do something in my community to change this. I want better quality teachers in my school and a good education. Why is that so hard to ask?

Unfortunately it’s just a fact of life that Schools in poorer areas are just more likely to perform worse than Schools in Middle Class and Upper class areas.

Lower-Income Kids generally just have a lot more baggage than well-off kids, many just focus on surviving and knowing where the next meal would come from, some have their own kids and other priorities where they have to work jobs. THIS RESULTS in less focus on School-work and Studying THUS producing, on average, poorer academic test scores.

I never been to a Low-Income School before but I can almost guarantee that the actual quality of education is not much lower than that of another area.

Well if this is an indication of what happens in a black college where a degree of maturity is expected,
I can only wonder what happens in grammar and high schools.

The way things are in the inner city is due to social issues that has been studied and researched and you know what, The politicians that refuse to do what is required to fix the problem is more concerned about their constituents who own the oil companies, drug companies and who make the lions share of the money from inner cities. If they solved that problem then the their way of life would be compromised. So they pretend that its about balancing the budget. when in reality its not what you know but who you know. Oh yea and they know who votes and who don’t vote!!!!!!
