Is this an okay letter to my host family?

environment canada issues : I’m writing a letter to my host family in Chile. This is an introductory letter, so they can get to know me. Please tell me if it’s enough information, also if my Spanish is okay!

Dear family,
My name is XXXXX. I live in XXXX with my parents, my younger sister (who is 13) my two cats and my dog. I also have an older brother. He’s 20 years old and is a chef. He lives in his own apartment. I am 17, and my birthday is XXXX.
In general I like school. My favorite classes are Spanish and art, but I am also taking 5 other classes, including math, history, English, biology, and orchestra (I’ve played the violin for 6 years).
When I’m not in school, I like to read, draw and camp. Every summer I go to the north of (my state) and canoe. Next summer I’m going to camp in Canada for 3 weeks! I am also very involved in my community. I’m in two groups at my school- one for human rights and one for the environment. My favorite activity is to travel. I love to learn about other cultures and languages.
When I’m older, I want to be a teacher. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher since I was a kid, because my teachers have always influenced me. Because I like languages, I think it would be best if I could be a Spanish teacher.

Me llamo XXXX. Vivo en XXXX con mis dos padres, mi hermana menor que tiene 13 años, mis dos gatas y mi perro. También tengo un hermano mayor. Él tiene 20 años y es un chef. Vive en su propio apartamento. Tengo 17 años, y mi cumpleaños es el XXX de XXXX.
Por general me gusta la escuela. Mis clases favoritas son el Español y el arte, pero estoy tomando 5 otras clases, incluyen los matemáticas, la historia, el Inglés, la biológica, y la orquesta (he tocado el violín hace 6 años).
Cuando no estoy en la escuela, me gustan leer, dibujar y acampar. Cada verano voy al norte de XXX. El verano próximo voy a acampar en Canadá para 3 semanas! También estoy muy involucrada en la comunidad. Estoy en dos grupos de mi escuela- uno por los derechos de los seres humanos, y uno por el medioambiente. La actividad que me gusta más es viajar. Me encanta aprender sobre otras culturas y idiomas.
Cuando sea mayor, quiero ser una maestra. Siempre he querido tener este trabajo desde era niña, porque mis maestros siempre me han influido. Porque me gustan los idiomas, pienso que sería bien si podría ser una maestra del Español.
