William Paterson__IT WAS HORRIBLE in the 90s…

they did revamp the program and supposedly made it more relevant…but some of the professors were horrible…luckily 2 of the worst are gone (died) they were poster children for why tenure should be eliminated….if you cooked for one you got an A–if you didn’t you got a B…..most of the time she didn’t show up for class..and in the 3 classes I had with her all she did was tell the same 2 stories…..and gave the same exam for all classes…..obviously not reading them…

They did things like say
you should learn about>>>>>>>but never gave a lesson about it—the instruction ended with that one sentence..’You should learn about-”

I was was hired by an adjunct I had about10 years after I graduated….he was clueless about the sub category of special ed he was supposed to specialize in….

the field experience office was completely inept–i was better able at securing appropriate field experiences then they were….and they placed me in classrooms that were not eligible to have me as a student teacher TWICE!…..

I heard an issue with Rowan recently…that they didn’t have an undergrad degree so you had totake post grad courses for another year.
