special education issues : I am a student at a community college. I am currently taking liberal studies courses in order to finish my GE requirements to transfer to a university. I would like to be a special education teacher. However my passion is art. Can I major in art, and become certified in special ed. Or do I have to major in Education to become a special ed teacher?

you would have to double major

or get a bachelors in one and a masters in the other
